Welcome To Branch 118

BRANCH 118 RE-OPENING

We are pleased to advise that Branch 118 will re-open Friday, January 21, 2022 at 11:00 am

Just a reminder to all members that we still must comply with the following:

• Masks must be worn at all times except when seated at your table. When you come to the bar to order a drink or use the washroom, you must wear your mask.
• Proof of double vaccination must be provided on either your cell phone or the QR code paper.
• Limit is six (6) per table – please try to keep your same bubble. Please do not re-arrange any of the tables.
• No mingling between tables.
• No table hopping.

As a PHO requirement for our re-opening, we will be offering a meal service which will include assorted sandwiches ($5.00) and hot dogs ($4.00).

Your Executive Committee met on Wednesday, January 19th. It was decided to postpone the return of Saturday Meat Draw until January 29th.
Bingo and Trivia Night postponed until later in February.

Any events that are held are at 50% of our capacity.

Just as another reminder, if you not feeling well or showing any signs of Covid 19 symptoms, you must stay home until you are feeling better.

Everyone’s health and safety is of the utmost important.

Thank you very much for your patience and understanding!

WELCOME TO BRANCH 118

The Royal Canadian Legion/BC Yukon Command is a non-profit organization consisting of 150 Branches, 90 Ladies’ Auxiliaries and nearly 60,000 members. We are one of the foremost and most respected community service organizations in Canada, serving veterans, ex-service personnel, seniors, youth and many aspects of community life.

At the Legion, we are guided by three pillars: Remember, Join & Give:
Remembering allows us to reflect and honour long-term veterans and their families, and to be here to support a new generation of veterans.

Joining is all about membership and volunteering—the Legion is where belonging matters, and where you can make a real difference with your time and talent.

Giving means saying “Thank You” and “I care about my community”—with your cheque book, credit card—even your cell phone! Your financial contributions make a world of difference.
