Welcome To Branch 118

Dear Branch 118 Members ~

Dr. Bonnie Henry’s recent announcement on March 29, 2021, has made it necessary to make some temporary changes within our Branch. During the period of March 30th through the May long weekend, the Main Lounge will be closed. Service will only be offered on the Patio for a limited number of patrons. Please follow the directions of your bartender. We will try to remain open and at the same time, abide by the Provincial Health Officer’s instructions.

The Patio capacity will be limited to a maximum of 20 people. Service will be on a first come basis – if there is no space on the Patio, regrettably, we will not be able to admit you. Tables and/or chairs are not to be moved as social distancing must be maintained. Your table must consist of members from your immediate household and/or your core bubble of six (6).

Please continue to sign in and sanitize when entering the Branch. Masks must still be worn at all times, unless you are seated at your table.

Effective Wednesday, March 31st, the Branch hours will be modified as follows:
Sunday to Thursday – Noon to 6:00 pm
Friday and Saturday – Noon to 8:00 pm

No Legion activities permitted in the Main Lounge until further notice.

ONLY Branch 118 members will be allowed into the Branch: no guests and/or spouses.

As a reminder, there is No Drinking and/or No Smoking (of any kind) allowed in the underground parking lot; P1 and P2. This is against both City of North Vancouver and Strata Bylaws.

There will be some new and exciting information regarding Off Sales coming soon. Stay tuned!

Please remember, Be Kind to one another.

The Royal Canadian Legion/BC Yukon Command is a non-profit organization consisting of 150 Branches, 90 Ladies’ Auxiliaries and nearly 60,000 members. We are one of the foremost and most respected community service organizations in Canada, serving veterans, ex-service personnel, seniors, youth and many aspects of community life.

At the Legion, we are guided by three pillars: Remember, Join & Give:
Remembering allows us to reflect and honour long-term veterans and their families, and to be here to support a new generation of veterans.

Joining is all about membership and volunteering—the Legion is where belonging matters, and where you can make a real difference with your time and talent.

Giving means saying “Thank You” and “I care about my community”—with your cheque book, credit card—even your cell phone! Your financial contributions make a world of difference.
